BCAAs or branched chained amino acids usually consist of the three essential amino acids valine, isoleucine, and leucine. Amino Acids are the building blocks of protein, which are the building blocks of muscle. So you can see why there are many benefits of supplementing with them and why they're always found in my stack.
There have many studies done that prove their effectiveness and I've seen good results from taking them during my workout. They're also fairly cheap and usually taste really good so it's a win win when it comes to buying them.

BCAAs are great to take when you're trying to put on muscle but are at a caloric deficit. This is because the the 3 amino acids found in them help prevent the breakdown of muscle which is very common when you are eating less calories than you are using. They are also more efficient in muscle protein synthesis, or the building of new muscle fibers after you tear them down. Since they are the individual peptide chains that are very quickly digested and taken into the bloodstream right away which means your muscles are getting them as soon as possible.
Another benefit is that they will allow you to workout harder and for a longer time. The reason being that BCAAs have a big role in regulating glucose in the body. You're body will better be able to regulate blood glucose levels, thus potentially giving you a better workout. They also limit the amount of serotonin (chemical that causes you to feel fatigued) released in the brain. This means you'll be more energetic throughout your entire workout no matter how long it is.
They are also fairly cheap which is a huge win because who has an excess amount of money to spend on supplements. This supplement is definitely worth the money and I think everyone serious about bodybuilding should be supplementing with them.
I prefer to take them during my workout as an intra-workout. They provide enough nutrients to get me through my full workout with plenty of energy. Also they usually taste really good and are very sweet so it gives me something to suck on besides water during my workouts.
You can take them whenever you want and as many times as you want but as a general rule I stick to once a day during my workout or after depending on how I am feeling.
