The market is so over saturated with different bodybuilding products, different potions, different supplements, different everything it's hard to know what you actually need.
I want to let you know what you actually need. I'm talking the bare minimum here. No extra fluff. Maybe that extra fluff would have helped you but to be honest the return of investment is so minimal you are not going to see a difference by not using it.
I'm going to focus on supplements. We're going to assume that you already have access to a gym because let's be honest, without a gym, it is going to be very difficult to bodybuild.
Of all the bodybuilding products out there from clothing to equipment, supplements takes up the most real estate. It's where they hit us with the most information and it can be over whelming.
I'm here to keep it simple for you. Literally as simple as I can be. Three supplements you must have. I'm talking generic products not a certain brand, that's for you to figure out which works best for you. It cannot get more simple than this.
If you're going to tear down your muscles you need to build them back up. You do that through protein. You're probably not getting enough protein in your diet so invest in some protein powder to get in the right amount of protein to really see some gains!
Not all are created equal but all have there benefits and there down sides. Go check out my protein powder page to see some of my suggestions and what I think of them.
This one isn't really about bodybuilding so much as it is about overall health. Just as important as your macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, and fats) are, micronutrients are right there with them.
If you're anything like me you probably hardly eat fruit and stay even further away from vegetables. That's where multi-vitamins come in. They bridge the gap for you and keep you healthier. Definitely a must have.
I have seen huge improvements in my strength and my physique since I've started taking creatine. It is a cheap supplement and you see great results from it.
Definitely a must have when you are participating in bodybuilding. There is a lot of controversy behind this supplement. You either love it or hate it. I don't think it should be that way. I personally love it and you should try it out for a bit and see what you think before you shoot it down.
These are the three must haves. Invest in these before anything else. You're just starting out most likely. There's no need to go level 10 right away.
These products are all safe and will only help you improve your physique. It's your job to find which brand you like best. Do some research take the leap of faith and try it out.
Let me know what your top 3 are. I'm not saying these are the only acceptable top 3. We're different people with different opinions, share what you think the top 3 bodybuilding products are in the comments, I'm open to hearing everyone's thoughts!!
