Pre-workout is there for you when no one else is. Sometimes it's hard to go to the gym and I guarantee some days you won't want too nor will you have the energy to push through your work out.
That's where this supplement comes in. This can help you get over the hump and get to the gym. You probably don't want to come dependent on it but it is something to be used frequently to help you improve leaps and bounds.
Most pre-workouts have stimulants but some do not. Usually I don't take them if I'm working out later in the day because the truth is I have a hard time falling asleep that night if I do.

There are a ton of different pre-workouts to choose from but they are not all created equal. While most have stimulants there are some that do not.
It all depends on what you're looking for to get from it. For me personally I want a pre-workout that's going to give me energy and kind of wake me up in a sense. Another important factor is the pump you get when you workout.
There are some companies that produce a product that actually enhances the pump you can get at the gym, which in the end is a great feeling.
The Most common ingredients found are caffeine, beta-alanine, niacin, and sometype of creatine mixture.
Caffeine is there to give you that boost. It's a stimulant so it's going to give you energy to start and finish your workout. That's why I take pre-workout in the morning to give me that boost. Not all of them contain caffeine though so make sure if you want that boost you find one with caffeine. Most of them have it.
Beta-alanine is a non essential amino acid. It's common connected with a tingling feeling after taking it. Especially when it's your first time experimenting with some pre-pump juice you are going to feel this tingling feeling and you might be annoyed by it. Niacin is a another name for B3. It could be considered to be a pump enhancer because it dilates the blood vessels to blood flows better throughout the body.
Creatine is another common ingredient because of the energy it feeds your muscles so that you can lift longer and harder. Now you are not going to feel the effects of creatine the first time you use it. You have to build up the creatine storage in your body so it's not the most important part of the equation in pre-workout.
It can be highly addictive. That's the biggest problem. You might get dependent on it and feel like you can't workout unless you have it.
As well there's a lot of other questionable chemicals in it that cause people to stay away. The truth is it is going to put some added stress on your body but just make sure you're drinking plenty of water all the time. It may not solve the problem but it will definitely help your body process the stuff better.
